Moving

If you keep reading my blog, perhaps you could remember that I've opened, for different reasons, some Livejournal accounts, and that I've closed them after a time. But now it's different: I was pondering for a while about moving to Livejournal. I didn't make it before for a number of reasons: I liked to make my own layouts for the blog (tried to do it in a LJ account and turned out to be extremely difficult for me ^^U), updating fanlistings information seemed to me a great bore and, of course, 'cos I grew fond of Blogger.
But now it's different: I prefer using pre-made layouts, I've taken down all the fanlistings and, while I still like Blogger, I also think it's time for a change ^__^ Many of the people I follow on the net has an account there and, besides, in Livejournal it's much easier to keep track of comments, and there're communities you can follow. In a nutshell: more interaction. And, well, you can use icons ^^. This is the silliest of reasons, but I love them ^^U

And about this blog, probably I won't update it anymore. I don't like cross-posting, but I'm not going to delete this account anyway, 'cos I want to keep its post and the comments you've made. By the way, for those of you who haven’t got a LJ account, don’t worry! I’ll keep visiting your blogs and commenting there ^__^

Back to school

Well, I have now another reason for not joining NaNoWriMo this year: most likely, next week I'm going to start taking drawing lessons again :D Last year, although I though about joining the art school, I couldn't manage it, but now I'm able to do so ^^ My schedule'll become a bit crazy, but I don't care, 'cos I'm really looking forward to it ^____^

And yup, now more stuff about videogames :) I bought the last Professor Layton game, The Lost Future, which has such an adorable spoiler, but I won't mention it, just in case.

Overruled

So, sorry if I disappoint anyone, but I'm not going to join NaNoWriMo this year ^^U That's because a number of reasons: although I like writing, I prefer spending my creative free time drawing than doing the latter and, since NaNoWriMo is just for fun (at least for myself), I don't see the point of spending (most of) my spare hours of November doing it. And besides, and what perhaps it's more important, when I first thought about joining, I had a plot and some characters outlined. They seemed interesting to me at that time, but right now I guess I don't have inspiration enough to pull up a story out of them. So sorry again ^^U

Gaming-wise, I just beaten Professor Layton and the Curious Village (I have to look the answer of some of the puzzles on the guide, but don't tell anyone ;) ), and now playing again Pandora's Box. And, by the way, I'm very happy right now 'cos they've merged up Professor Layton with my other favourite videogame: Phoenix Wright :D This is the teaser:

Simply awesome. I can't wait to play it ^__^ The only turnoff is that the game is going to be released for the new Nintendo DS 3D, and that means that possibly the game wouldn't work with the older version >__< Not cool. So now I'm picturing myself buying a new one XD.

Videogames

So, just a little videogame talk for today, beginning with Professor Layton :) I've almost beaten Curious Village, I just have to finish the puzzles from the extra section. After that, I'm going to pick Pandora's Box again, 'cos I left out many puzzles ^^U, so I guess it's worth playing it again from scratch.
And it seems that a third Professor Layton game and Ace Attorney Investigation 2 are going to be released :D I know enough about the former to be very curious about it (besides puzzle stuff), but I won't say anything here 'cos it's a big spoiler, hehe. And about AAI 2, I know very little about it, and I rather prefer it to be so.

Dolls in reality, dolls in dreams

Went today to a little manga con at town. It was OK, the only turn off was that I expected to buy there some BJD stuff, but none was sold ·__· Well, I always can buy it online, so yeah. Anyway, I bought three anime films at a very cheap price (it seems like the film company is making some clearance), and ramen too :)

I had a silly dream last night, also about dolls: I had a rather huge cardboard box full of Barbie-sized dolls and their clothes. One of the dolls, a female, was wearing a beautiful shimmering lacy black dress; there were also some matching black hats around. Another female doll had tanned skin and greyish dreadlocks, and was wearing a sort of fantasy outfit. There was also another doll which, in my dream, I reckoned he was done after 007 films, although he looked like Humphrey Bogart XD, dressed in a black smoking.
I felt a bit overwhelmed about such amount of stuff (although I only saw three dolls, I guessed there were many more), so I thought about putting some order in it. And here's when I woke up.
Out of curiosity, I've checked if there're James Bond dolls and well, they exist :) If you're curious, you can take a look here and here

I just came back from holidays, and I'm already missing them, LoL. I had my laptop, but I wasn't very active on the net though, just made some comments here and there - I was very busy having, well, holidays :D Actually I still feel like staying away from the computer screen.

Manga-wise, I'm a Mr. Tougou fangirl now ;) Thinking about purchasing some of the Golgo 13 English volumes. By the way, Bakuman is going to be released in my country, but if I finally buy the former, I doubt I buy Bakuman too. Not enough room for so many mangas XD

Finally I ordered Yuki's new eyes :) They arrived some weeks ago, and they look great. I must take some new photos.

About blog stuff, changed the layout again, and took down all the fanlistings.

Of writing and dolls

To begin with, these lovely bunnies I've found at Cute Overload ^__^

Second, it's most likely that I'm going to join NaNoWriMo this year :D Actually, I knew NaNoWriMo already, but it didn't caught my attention at the time. But I just found its Twitter account through that new suggestions thingie, and took a look at its web and thought, "Why not?" I don't know if I'll be able to complete the task, but it's worth trying. At least I've got the plot outlined, sort of (I dreamt about it last night, LoL) Bad news for some of my readers, though, I'm going to write it in Spanish ^^U

I've thought also about revamping Yuki, and stuff. Perhaps I'll buy him a new pair of eyes. I think I never feel completely satisfied with the random set I've got when I bought him. But I'm only going to purchase them if I feel I'm fully into BJDs again, 'cos on the contrary it'll be a waste of money. Anyway, the eyes I like for him are these. What do you think? Since he's Japanese, I looked for something Asian-looking. They may look a bit dark, but I think they'll fit him greatly :) About his wardrobe, no big changes, I guess. Maybe I'll sew him some more traditional clothing. A haori and a pair of hakama trousers will be a good idea, and perhaps another kimono.
But more important than the looks, I should work more on the character himself and start defining it more, as well as writing down his story (it could be a second option for NaNoWriMo XD) If I do so I'm going to get more inspiration for making photos for sure. A photo inspired in each sort story I write about him, that sounds good... And everything will make more sense, if you know what I mean.
(A little note for those of you who don't know much about these dolls: in the BJD world, usually the owner give their dolls a name and a background story)

The thing is, I use to buy most of my mangas in, let's call it Shop A. In the good ol' times Shop A was always full of people, but right now it seems to be empty most of the time, and even the premises itself seem a bit decaying. So yeah, I may guess these aren't very good times for Shop A.
Then there is Shop B, which opened after Shop A. Shop B is bigger, and prettier. The owners from both shops are equally kind but, besides that, if anybody would ask me what shop I'd like better, probably I'd tell Shop B. But despite that, I have a (perhaps silly) loyalty to still buy stuff in Shop A.

Japanese

Since I'm not taking Japanese classes right now, I'm using the spare time to going over all what I've learned so far during last months. Yep, I've forgotten some stuff, LoL. I have to study kanjis too, but there're so many, and it's so complicated ·__· Well, at the moment I'm just focusing on grammar, vocabulary and kanjis will come next. Actually I miss the classes, but I'll start again soon ^__^

Hm, I'd like to write some fiction but, although I have inspiration, I can't come up with a consistent plot, I just have random ideas here and there. Maybe I should write them anyway, perhaps I could develope them later, and obtain something worth, don't you think? ^^

Art, then and now

Yup, another entry about art, although this time it isn't about my drawings, but someone else's. It's a sort of curious story, so let's begin: back on the days when I got a full internet access, I discovered on the net an artist (don't bother to ask, I'm not going to tell you their name XD) who caught my attention. Their pictures were, although a bit simple and sometimes sketchy, so beautiful that I just can't help but love them. It was also the time when I started drawing in a regular basis, so this person's art was also a big source of inspiration. I have most of their pictures saved in my hard drive, and everytime I look at them I have still the same feeling ^__^
Time passed by, and little by little my liking from this person's art started to fade a bit. I still checked their webpage every now and then, until I stopped.
But one or two years ago, almost by chance, I found again this person's works on the net. Their style has improved a lot, and their pictures are great... but I look at them and feel nothing ·__· Their old art, although maybe a bit flawed, touched something special inside me, but their new pictures didn' tell me anything. They're just almost perfect works for me, but nothing else...
I guess what happened isn't so uncommon so, have you ever experienced the same? I'd love to hear about it :D But remember, my fellow artists, that that isn't a excuse for not trying to improve as much as you can XD

Some update about what I have been into those days. I bought Studio Kawaii's new published manga, and got it signed by the girls, too. It was a long time since I met them, so it was great to see them again ^__^ If you can read Spanish, you should check it out ^^

Unexpectedly, I'm now a Pinky owner too, LoL. The story is as follows: I had some mangas that I wanted to sell, so I went to a regular comic shop which also buys second-hand stuff. They told me that they could pay me either in cash, or that I can choose any (new) product from the shop, for a higher amount of money than the cash option. So I chose the latter, and picked a lovely Pinky girl ^__^

Four fanfiction things I don't like

First of all, I should say that it isn't a serious rant. Well, it isn't even a rant XD Actually I find pretty useless arguing over fandom stuff, 'cos fiction and fandom should be for enjoyment and not for whining. So I'm writing this list for my own amusement, and I hope for yours too :D

The term "fanfic": seriously, it just sound so odd and wrong. People write novels, novellas, short stories, poetry, and the like, but not fics. Have you ever heard a writer say "I'm going to publish a fic"? Nope XD Why don't saying simply "fan story"? I'd be much easier, and sounds way better :D And yeah, I already know that "fic" is short from "fiction", but it sounds dumb anyway XD
The term "pairing": "pairing" sounds like you were to put two rats in a cage, and expect them to match ·__· I rather prefer using "couple". As simple as that.
The unnecessary portmanteaus: so, let's say that you like Kyou and Tohru from Fruits Basket. No problem with that but, instead of writing "KyoxTohru", or "Kyou and Tohru", why do you have to make up such an odd word like "Kyoru"? O.o Unless it's a riddle so we can guess what couple are you speaking about XD
The Mary Sue/OC/whatever hate: OK guys, I know that out there are terribly bad-written stories full of worse fancharacters. But just let them be, nobody is asking you to read them. Of course you're entitled to express your opinion but, are you gaining anything for making huge rants? I guess no, so take it easy :) If their authors enjoy themselves while writing them, it's nobody's problem. Just ignore it, and resume your internet browsing :D (On a side note, I rather prefer using "fancharacter" instead of "OC [own character]" when dealing with fanfiction, since for me an OC is a totally original character not based in any already existing fictional universe)

Saturday evening

Yay for original titles, LoL. Well, anyway, I've met with some friends and went to the theatre. It was a monologue and, although I don't really enjoy them, I must say that this play was just awesome. Man, I laughed so hard :D After that, we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Ate lots of food, and in the meantime watched a World Cup match broadcasted by a Chinese TV channel.

In my previous entry I've told you already that I've finished Ace Attorney Investigations, but I wish to comment a bit more about the game, so SPOILERS follow:

I rather like Calisto Yew, her character design is great, and she looks so fun when she does her make-up thingie XD, but on the contrary I sort of dislike Shi-nah ·__· By the way, she looks quite scary when she's unmasked.
But who really freaked me out is Quercus Alba in his, let's say, final form. Yikes O__o He looks rather tree-like, I wonder if he's some sort of evil ent... XD

I'm currently reading the Corum Trilogy by Michael Moorcock. I used to be a hug fantasy fan back then, but my interest for this sort of literature has faded away, and now I don't read it anymore. But I did really enjoy Moorcock's novels and, when I found this book by chance, I've decided to buy it. Haha, it's sort or refreshing reading about strange creatures, battles and adventures again :D

And yep, I've changed the layout again. Since I'm using templates as of late (see link below), doing it it's much easier and quicker :)

I have no objections

Hey there, guys. Just came from the Japanese school dinner a while ago. Food was delicious as usual, too bad I don't know the name of most of the dishes still ^^U. I've missed the ikebana exhibition 'cos I was a bit late ^^U, but I won some flowers : D After dinner, the school makes a raffle with the flowers used at the exhibition, so that's how I've got them ^__^

Gaming-wise, I've beaten Ace Attorney Investigations. It wasn't as difficult as the three Phoenix Wright games and, although the game system was a bit, let's say, stiff (you haven't got the option of choosing what scenario to investigate first, and the like), I've enjoyed it a lot anyway ^__^ Now it's the time of drawing fanart, hehe. And I should try some fanfiction too :D

About manga, now I'm reading Tokyo Style by Anno Moyoko, and you should do it too 'cos it's so awesome. I'm glad 'cos lately I'm finding many interesting mangas to read ^__^

My former art teacher, Ken Niimura, is holding an art exhibition (more info here) and, since today was the opening I went there. I didn't meet Ken since a long time ago, so I was glad to see him again. The Kôsen girls were there, too. Besides good pictures, there were also tea, and Kit-Kats from various flavours. Look, I even became a empty box as proof! ^__^

Also art related, some weeks ago I've joined MarkerMania club at DeviantART. I'm quite happy 'cos I sent a picture to the club, and it got accepted ^__^ I know I have to improve a lot still, but I think it means that I'm in the right track, at least in colouring matters XD This is the drawing I've submitted:

Convention, and lunch

There was a manga con this weekend at town. Went there with some friends, bought and got signed Stallion by St. Kôsen, and also found and old edition of Dominion Tank Police by Shirow Masamune. I was looking for that manga but couldn't find it anywhere, so I was very happy when I saw it on one of the stands :D Besides reading stuff, I also bought a cute cell phone strap, and a gothic white dress ^__^ There were also BJD clothing on sale, but since I'm not really paying much attention to Yuki right now ·___·, I thought it'll be a waste of money buying anything. I should fix that, and start taking photos of him again :)

Today I had lunch with a friend of mine. She's one of the sweetest persons on Earth, and we had a great time together ^__^ After lunch, we went shopping, I've got a pair of jeans and a blue T-shirt. Besides other topics, we talked about friendship. I'm glad we did that, 'cos I was musing about some related stuff as of late, and speaking with her about that made me see things clearer: there's no point in trying to get a closer friendship with someone who isn't interested and sees you just as a mere acquaintance.

World Book Day

Happy World Book Day everyone! :D Have you done anything special to celebrate it? I've bought The Changeling by Oe Kenzaburo, and also went to the Don Quixote live reading at the Fine Arts Association. In case you're wondering what this stuff is about: it's a non-stop reading of the novel, done to celebrate the World Book Day. It begins April 22 and finishes April 24. It's done by famous and non-famous people. And non-stop means just non-stop, there's a person reading even by night!
So I went there, listened to some people, and suddenly one of the women in charge says, "we're going to listen now to NY Cervantes Institute students". So through a video teleconferencing of sorts we were able to watch and listen the kids reading. It was so great. ^__^

By the way, today I've also unexpectedly met with two friends of mine. It was a long time since I saw them for the last time, so I was very happy to meet them again. Hope we can get in touch more often :) And besides, talking with a workmate, I learnt that she also likes manga. Almost none of my RL friends is into this stuff, so I'm very glad of that.

Fun can be difficult, but it's fun anyway.

I'm having so much fun RPGing right now :D Although I knew this sort of games since a long time, I'm rather new to playing them actually. I've played D&D-style game once, and didn't really enjoy it, also played a live RPG, and I just felt so weird acting ·__· I'm not interested in playing that sort of RPGs anymore, but the online-way piqued my curiosity, and since Eithne opened the PW comm at Livejournal (see my previous post), I've decided to give it a try.
And yes, it's terribly fun, but man, it's so difficult too! XD First-person posts are especially hard: it's not only that you have to think what to tell, but also how to tell it, so it can match your character. Third-person posts seem to me easier, but I like to write them as good as I can, so they can make an enjoyable reading for the other players. So now that I'm using my writing skills so much, I hope I get into writing fiction again, hehe.
Although I obviously understand the "technical" details of the gameplay, I have still some minor doubts that I don't dare to ask, 'cos I fear they're rather absurd... ^^U Can you play the same character in two different event posts, although it may lead to contradictory happenings? Should or should not the first-person posts be coherent with what's happening on the event posts? I think I'm going to ask some questions at the OOC post at last, LoL. Please Eithne forgive me for being such a n00b ^^U

Cinema, and RPGing in Spanish

Went to the cinema with friends yesterday. We had dinner at a Chinese restaurant before, and then we headed to watch Alice on 3D. Although my friends didn't really liked it ^^U, I enjoyed it; perhaps it isn't one of the best Tim Burton films, but it's nice anyway. And about the 3D stuff... well, I think I rather prefer watching films on good ol' 2D. I mean, it's fun and all that, and I don't regret the experience ('cos I was actually curious about it), but watching an almost 2 hours film is a bit tiresome, especially if you have to wear the special glasses on top of your own, like me XD In my opinion, 3D makes sense in not so long animation films with lots of action. Watching 3D characters jumping here and there in is cool, but watching just people talking (like in the first and last scenes of Alice) doesn't make so much sense.

And about RPG, since it's about a Spanish-speaking community, I'm going to switch languages now:
Eithne ha creado no hace mucho Ace Attorneys, una comunidad RPG en Livejournal. Como ya habréis supuesto, está basada en la serie de videojuegos Phoenix Wright. Investigations

I've started to play Ace Attorney Investigations, and I'm enjoying it so far ^__^ Before commenting anything, there's the promo teaser:

Kay's voice sounds a bit silly, but who cares XD

And now onto the comments. I've finishing the first case right now, beware of possible SPOILERS:

I'm liking the graphics a lot ^^ The characters are more detailed, and the sprites are just so cute! And everything is so pinkish, I suppose to match Edgeworth's jacket, hehe. One thing that bugs me a bit is that, since a character could appear looking to the right or left, instead of making two different graphics, only one was used, flipped when necessary. So we have that Gumshoe's red pencil jumps from one ear to the other XD But other than that, I have no complaints.
I like the gaming system as well. It's quite similar to the Phoenix Wright series, just a bit changed. Miles investigates the crime scene mostly in the same fashion that Phoenix does and, althought there's no courtroom here, Miles does cross-examine the potential culprits (well, it's called "rebuttal" here, but it works the same)
As expected, Edgeworth is as his finest here :) Speaking of him, besides his looks ^^, I love how Miles has evolved from just the antagonist at Ace Attorney into Phoenix's friend and a more developed character.
I can't wait for Franziska, Emma, and Shi-Long to show up. About Shi-Long, just to check if he'd make a good boyfriend for Franny XD

Food and games

My last entry was too short, so I'm going to tell you more stuff this time:
Went out to dinner with friends some days ago. Despite some of the people arrived late, we had a great time :) We ate loads of food; one of the courses was raw meat that should be cooked by yourself, using a hot clay dish. That was so much fun, the first time we put a piece of meat at the clay dish it started to pour smoke like crazy XD

Finally I've beaten Trials and Tribulations ^__^ so, as I've said in my previous post, mandatory comments with SPOILERS follow. Just click on the link below.

If I had to choose among the three Phoenix Wright games, perhaps this one will be my favourite. It's hard to choose, though.
Young Phoenix is such a nerd XD
Playing with Mia was nice for a change, and young Payne and his hair were hilarious XD I love playing with Edgeworth too ^__^, and the trial between him and Franziska was great.
I don't like Dahlia and Iris at all, but for two opposite reasons: Dahlia 'cos she's too evil, and Iris 'cos she's too good. Plus they sort of represent two female clichés I strongly dislike: the innocent-looking woman who uses her sweet appearence to fool people and make misdeeds, and on the other hand the overly good one, who never gets angry no matter what happen.

Went to a manga con at town last week and, unlike some cons before, I rather enjoyed it :D There weren't many people, so I could look at the stands and have a walk around at ease. I didn't find the mangas I was looking for, but there was a stand selling BJD stuff :D, so I bought Yuki a cargo/emo trousers, black and white striped socks, and a mini deck of cards for photoshoots. He looks so sharp with his new clothes ^__^ You can see them here :D
By the way, I've changed the old layout of my BJD site for a Blogger template. Although I rather prefer using my own designs, I wasn't really satisfied with the last one so I changed it for this white template. I like it a lot 'cos it's very simple and the photos stand out more ^__^

Perfect Prosecutor is supposed to be on sale since the 19th, but yesterday I went to the videogame shop and couldn't find it. I just looked over the shelves, didn't ask the assistants 'cos there was a long queue and didn't feel like waiting, LoL. I should then return to the shop as ask this time, no matter I should wait XD Not that I'm really into a hurry, 'cos I have still to play Trials and Tribulations, but Phoenix Wright games are a bit hard to find here after some time, so I don't want to miss the chance.

Since I've beaten normal level at Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan already (man, last song was difficult!) I'm playing Justice for All right now. Comments and SPOILERS from first and second cases follow:

I sort of miss the OST of Ace Attorney, especially that awesome theme played when the witness is cornered by Phoenix, but Justice for all is as much fun as the first game anyway. The student from the first case was just hilarious and, am I the only one who thinks that Dr. Grey was sort of hot? Too bad he got killed, LoL XD Pearl seemed to me an annoying big-headed kid at first ^^U, but she became much more cuter when she started to interact with the rest of the characters.
And, I'm not really fond of looking for romantic "hints" on fiction, but all the fuss Phoenix does about trying not to remember Miles made my fangirl side laugh ^3^ So then, is it painful to think about his missing love? Haha.

So now I wish also to do some pimpin' of St. Kôsen new project, Saihoshi Redemption, sequel of their manga Saihoshi the Guardian. This time the plot continues not as a comic, but in prose format. Last evening it snowed like crazy :D There was even a special news broadcast in local TV. And today there's still snow on the ground ^__^

I'm still playing Osu!Takakae!Ouendan. I have to beat just one level, and I'll unlock the hard mode. By the way, I've received Phoenix Wright: Justice for All, haha. I've ordered it 'cos I couldn't find in any shop T__T; luckily I've managed to buy Trials and Tribulations before it got sold out. I don't care much about Apollo Justice, though, 'cos I've read spoilers and I don't like what happen to some characters ·__· And next February Perfect Prosecutor is supposed to be released here, it'll be a blast for sure, hehe :D

So a new entry ahead ^__^
Some days ago I had dinner with some of my old workmates. I had a great time, and I realised how much I miss them. I should manage to see them more often.
I went to the comic convention too. I didn't find anything interesting, but at least I went with a friend so it wasn't boring.

My copy of Osu! Takakae! Ouendan has arrived already :D The game is difficult at times but terribly fun and, although I don't really like Japanese music, I enjoy the songs anyway. And the guys' sideburns crack me up XD I'm now playing in the normal mode 'cos easy is, well, too easy for me. And besides, Ryuta is hotter than Hajime, LoL. Haha, I can't wait to unlock hard and insane XD
By the way, looking for information about real ouendan Japanese teams, I've found this photo of a male cheerleader from Waseda University. The fact that the characters' outfits and moves are actually based on reality is so cute and fun :D

As I said in a previous entry, I wasn't sure about going or not to the next comic convention: finally I'm going to drop there just to watch the cosplay contest. A friend of mine told me that she wants to go too, so sure it'll be less boring, LoL.

I've finished playing Ace Attorney. Yeah, I bought this game like 3 years ago ^^U, but at first I just played it now and then, until I really got hooked and spent more time with it. I'd like to make some comments, so SPOILERS from Ace Attorney and from Apollo Justice follow:

Characters designs are awesome. Just look at Damon Gant, with that pink glasses and piercing green eyes.
I just love the Skye sisters: Emma is super cute when she puts her glasses on ^__^, and Lana is so beautiful and classy. It's a pity she ended up in jail after all T__T, hope she'll appear in any following game again! At least, I think Emma is in Apollo Justice too :D

By the way, I've ordered Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, which seems to be the craziest of games XD. I can't wait to play it :D

About art, I'm not drawing full illustrations any more, but sketching and trying to learn some anatomy. I won't get into inking or colouring again until I've grasped enough skills to draw somewhat decent stuff without staring constantly at references. So yeah.

I've finished Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. Such a cute game ^__^ I have some puzzles and stuff left, though, so I'm still playing with it.

Today I've decided to do a bit of cleaning up on my make-up box. I've ended up discarding many stuff, 'cos it was quite old and I doubt it'd be suitable for using anymore. So I went shopping for new make-up then :D I couldn't find the right shade of foundation I was looking for, but I did buy blush and a four-shade eye shadow box ^__^
By the way, do you know how to check the best-before on make-up thingies? You have to look for a little drawing of a pot or can with an open lid. It should appear on the product itself or on its package. Inside the pot there's a number followed by an "M", like "30M": it means that you can use that product safely for 30 months since the date you open it.

Besides the make-up stuff, I bought myself also a fedora hat. I usually look odd with anything on top of my head, but I tried this hat and it fits me (reasonably) well. I love its mafia-looking style :D

Since I finished reading Rg Veda, I'm posting some quick comments about the series. So SPOILERS follow:

Well, it seems that everybody dies on the last volume ·__· I especially felt sorry for the Dragon King, perhaps 'cos he's the first in dying, and very sorry for Kujaku too, I love that character T__T
I rather prefer grown-up Ashura, no matter how evil s/he can be, than the childish one. S/he got very annoying at times XD
On a lighter note, I couldn't have imagined that Taishaku and King Ashura were in love! ♥ It's sweet, haha.

Finally I bought Death Note 13, not disappointing at all. I've glanced through its pages, and it's full of fun info. Ryuk's diary is just hilarious XD. It also includes a card with L's true name inside a closed envelope. Yeah, I know that all fans know L's name already XD, but it's cool.

Besides Ace Attorney, I'm also playing Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. It's an awesome game, the riddles are fun, and sometimes difficult too, and it's full of cute graphics. Voice actors do a good job too. In the Spanish dubbing, Layton's voice is truly beautiful and sexy.

I watched also Hachiko. Aww. The doggie is so cute, and the plot so beautiful and sad T__T Be prepared to cry, if you're going to watch it.

Finally, Death Note 13 (How to read) and the two Death Note novels have been released here. I don't care about the novels, but I'm looking forward to the How to read. Actually I went to the comic store already, but it wasn't on sale yet ·_· I bought the final Rg Veda volume anyway.
So now that this series finishes, I don't know what manga may I start reading. I'm at a loss XD Kuroshitsuji seems cool, but it hasn't been released on my country, and I don't like to read scanlations.

By the way, next month there'll be another comic convention here. And now the question I never thought I'd ask myself XD: will I go to the con or not? If you've read my previous posts, lately I'm sort of disappointed about cons, so going to the next probably will be just a waste of time for me... So probably I'll go only if there's a stand selling BJD stuff, or any interesting activities.

Speaking about BJDs, Some weeks ago I've changed the layout of Yuki's site, and while looking for web materials discovered that the Image site seems to be down T__T It's a pity, I really liked it.

So yesterday I planned to buy at least one pair, but no way: they were either too tight or too big for me XD Actually I've checked only two shops, so I must resume the trousers-hunting.

Tomorrow I have another dinner with the guys of my Japanese school. So food will be one of the topics of my next post.

New clothes for cool guys

Today I've received some Dollmore stuff I've ordered for Yuki: underwear, trousers and a jumper :D He was in dire need of new underwear, I've sewn him two pair of boxers but they don't look so good, LoL. I should take some new photos of him soon.

I've also finished reading Gravitation Ex. 1. So SPOILERS follow:
While I still maintain the same opinion about the plot, I ended up liking this volume. Although the flying panda annoys me ¬¬ Yuki almost got knocked down by a truck, and due to that he became half blind. So yeah, a bit of angst is cool ^^U Oh, and I absolutely love when Yuki begs Ryuichi to not to get Shuichi for himself. Aww.
Speaking of Ryuichi, at the end he seems to be interested more in Tatsuha than in Shûichi XD And Shûichi does show a bit of attraction towards Ryuichi, although no doubt he's totally in love with Yuki.

It's a pity that there're no more published volumes so far... I've looked through the net and it seems that in Japan the series was stopped after volume 1 was released, but I've found spoilers from next chapters, so I don't know.

About my current "art status", more here. Yesterday I grabbed my Copic markers and did a picture of Yuki, though. But I want to take it easy, anyway.

The Anne Frank Foundation has released a YouTube channel. It's full of interesting videos, but the most amazing and touching is probably this one: during the filming of a wedding, Anne is seen peeping out of her window, looking outside. The web says that these are the only captured film images of the girl. In case you didn't recognize her, she appears approximately at min. 0:09, at the left of the screen.

I'm not sure if you Livejournal users are going to read this, but sorry for not checking your entries -_- Since I don't post anything there, I usually forgot about the site, but I'll try for now on to log more often.

I've also started reading Gravitation Ex. Not finished yet, but some SPOILERS follow:
I've only read the first chapter and half of the second, but I've found it a bit disappointing: the relationship between Yuki and Shûichi doesn't seem to evolve, Yuki is still rude with Shûichi and Shûichi is all hyperactive. Now Kitazawa had a son, and Ryuichi flirts with Shûichi, but besides of that, there seem to be no changes ·_· I had hoped to see Yuki and Shûichi get closer somehow, it'd be better for the plot, so not to be like a reenactment of the first part. And it'd make my fangirl side happier too XD
I wonder if the title Gravitation is actually hinting to that: two bodies moving around each other, never get too far, but never close enough. We'll see.

Ungeeking myself

The manga convention, as I said in my previous post, was rather unexciting. So yeah, I think the time of going to cons is finishing... I suppose I'll go to next one anyway, but you know what I mean.

I've just finished Fruits Basket. Although it isn't my favourite manga, it was a very cute reading. I feel like commenting about some of the couples, so beware of SPOILERS:

Tohru and Kyou, and Machi and Yuki are cute couples indeed. Tohru gets on my nerves sometimes though, with all hers "I'm so sorry!" and stuff.
I loved that Uotani and Kureno ended up together. I was so happy that Kureno didn't got killed at last. He wasn't a really interesting character (in fact he seemed to me rather bland), but I felt sorry for Uo.
Honestly I don't know what to think about Akito and Shigure ·_· Not that I dislike them entirely, but I neither can say that I like them being together.
Definitely, the master and Hanajima don't belong >__<

I also finished last book by Ana María Matute, Paraíso inhabitado (Lonely paradise in English, although I think the book hasn't been translated yet) It was a very cute story too, but...

There will be a mini manga convention soon and, as you can imagine, I'll go there to have a look. But I have mixed feelings about it: as I've said in previous entries, while I like reading manga, I'm not that close to the "otaku atmosphere", for lack of a better word. Anyway I'm going and enjoy it as much as I can. I won't carry Yuki along, 'cos it doesn't seem to be any BJD related stand, and 'cos he's quite heavy, LoL

I've finished also my German exams. The writing part wasn't so bad, but I was dumb on the oral exam, as usual ·_· Marks will be ready next week.

I'm so looking forward to see, Inglorious Basterds, and District 9. You can watch Tarantino film teaser here.

Yep, as you may have guessed by the title, I'm using Windows Vista right now. My old computer was so terribly slow, that finally I went to the computer store to buy a new one. I'm terribly happy with it, it's so quick and pretty. At first I didn't want to update to Vista, but now I don't regret it :D

Some comments about Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which I watched some days ago. Beware of SPOILERS:

Young Tom Riddle is much scarier than older Voldemort O_o Eek.
Alan Rickman was brilliant, as usual. I loved how Slughorn was played, too. I actually didn't like the character on the books very much, but on the film he was so eccentric and snob.
I enjoyed a lot the romantic bits among the guys. My favourite scene by far was Hermione looking after Ron at the hospital wing. Aww ^__^

I'm in a sewing spree lately. I've done a sleeveless T-shirt for Yuki, and I'm sewing a pair of matching glove-thingies right now. As soon as I finish the gloves, I'll post pictures online :D
By the way, I dreamt last night of Yuki in a full lolita dress XD The dress was quite cute: black with a colourful pattern, and pink lace. Now I want to put Yuki in a skirt XD

I'm in a sort of Fake mood too(I'm speaking about the manga, not that my mood is fake, LoL) I've read the series some time ago, but now I'm glancing through the manga again, and I remembered how great it is. There's a sequel published in Japan already, as far as I know. I can't wait to see it translated :D
Below there's the opening of the anime OAV, which has a just so beautiful song ^__^ And this is a real compliment 'cos, although I'm studying Japanese, usually I don't enjoy Japanese songs very much ^^U (note that there're two men kissing on the video, in case you feel unconfortable by it)

About art, my art block/unmotivation/whatever is almost gone. I'm feeling comfortable drawing again, although I've coloured some stuff and didn't like the result. So I'm sticking to just sketching at the moment.
My DeviantART subscription run out, but I'm not planning to renew it soon, since I'm not drawing that much. Besides, I miss more feedback on the site. I'm not talking about receiving flattering comments, but about critique to my work. Critique is a key for improving, I think, and I used to turn on the "advanced critique" option on my submissions, but I have seldom received any comment of the sort ^^U So... Of course I know that there's no time to comment in every submission of the watching list, I myself just comment on less than a half of the pics I have on my inbox, but it's a bit frustrating anyway...
There's this site in which you can submit your art just for critique, but I can't remember its name, LoL.

Probably you know already that Michael Jackson has died. I wasn't a big fan of him or his music, but I do believe that he was a great musician, and that he deserved to be called the King of Pop. After two tests, now an entry with more content, LoL
Work has been pretty hectic last days, but now stuff is sorted out, and I'm quite happy with how things have turned out :D

I went also to the book fair. Among other books; I bought The Never Ending Story in German. It was one of my favourite books when I was a kid, and having now the chance to read it in its original language it's sort of special for me ^__^
By the way, I have so many books and mangas for reading right now XD

About art, my DeviantART subscription is almost finished. Not sure if I'll buy another one or not. I'm trying to do sketches in a regular basis too, I haven't got much time right now 'cos I'll have my German exams soon >__<, but I'm trying to sneak some time for it.
I'm also working again on revamping and updating my original characters, and started to write new stuff about them. Nope, there're almost no chance that I'll upload those stories anywhere ^^U: most of them aren't finished, or are just little drabbles, and besides, for any odd reason, I like to keep them for myself.

Today, visit to a museum and lunch in a Cuban restaurant with friends. Yummy food ^__^ This afternoon there was a hail storm, luckily I was at home XD

Now I'm going to bore you with more art-rant ^^U, I've been colouring some stuff those last days, but still feel like meh about drawing. On the other hand, I feel that, if I don't draw, I need to, um, spend my creativity in something else. Yes, I know it sounds weird =_= Anyway, I'm trying to start writing again. I used (or tried) to write sword and sorcery stories a long time ago (I was a huge fan of fantasy back then), and in more recent times I wrote some original little stories about my character Alexander (more info here, although it's quite outdated), and fanfiction. Most of them aren't finished, though.

I'm thinking about giving up drawing... ·_· If not forever, at least for a time. Hm, it's like I'm so focused on improving that I don't enjoy drawing as I've used to... Difficult to explain. But anyway I need a break, even from sketching.

I've started to read Rg Veda by Clamp. Can't comment much about it at the moment 'cos I'm reading the first volume still, but the artwork is cute and there're bishies, LoL.

A little spoiler

I'm sort of fooled by Ashura's gender XD At the net it's said that s/he's genderless and is referred as "he", but in my copy of the manga s/he's female. So yeah, translation matters, I suppose.

By the way, I sort of miss being more into a fandom, like in the good ol' times of Yami no Matsuei and Death Note. I actually got a bit hooked on Hetalia, but reading it on the computer (it's a web comic) is tiring. Well, perhaps I'll end getting high on Rg Veda, who knows :D

Hi, guys! Time for another update. First of all, I must tell you that I've passed my Japanese exam! I've done it last December, and knew the marks some days ago. Haha, I'm so happy :D
By the way, I had lunch and stuff with a friend of mine and an Austrian girl, not only for fun but also for language practice purposes. The problem is that Austrian accent is a bit hard to understand for me, so sometimes I've got lost on the conversation ^^U. But the time was worth it ^__^

I've changed my doll site layout at last. I didn't really like the previous one, but I haven't got any good ideas for a new one. Now it looks really pretty.

About cinema, I've seen The Reader with the guys from my German class. It's such an awesome film. The story is sort of piercing, and makes you think very hard. I almost cried at the end. Besides, I'm reading the untranslated original book by Bernhard Schlink now, and it's good to know the full story beforehand, 'cos I'm not that good at German ^^U

Finally I didn't watch Flammen & Citronnen, but today I watched Valkyrie. I really liked the film, although it has some flaws: it's a bit rushed, and in my opinion it could be a bit confusing if you don't anything about the Operation Valkyrie. Anyway, if not brilliant, it is a quite good film.

Anyway, yesterday I went to the cinema to watch Defiance, which is so an awesome film, and I'm going to Flammen & Citronnen too. Besides the film itself, it'll be pretty cool to hear Danish :D

I have mixed feelings about it, the first day it was like meh, but on the following days I came back and I enjoyed it more then. I took some photos of the cosplay contest but they're terribly bad so I won't post them XD

Long time no write here, LoL. Anyway, some stuff ahead.
Since I'm on holidays right now :D, I went out of town to visit some relatives. The trip was great but my return train got a delay of 1 hour and a half 'cos some technical problems... T_T Finally I've caught the train and the journey was fine but suddenly it stopped ·_· A passenger said that the train had stopped 'cos it was overheating, and I picked up my DS and started to play Super Mario Bros. like crazy, to avoid freaking out... O_o I wasn't scared about the heating thingie, but I didn't like the idea of being stuck into the middle of nowhere... (Well, not really ^^U, I think it was actually near a little train station, but it was night already so I'm not sure) Luckily the train only stopped during 5 minutes, and we arrived at the station safe and sound :D And we can get our money ticket back too.

Next weekend there's a comic convention at town ^__^ I'm thinking now about stuff to buy, hehe. Among other things, probably I'll pick a Nendoroid Light figurine. Not that I like Light very much XD, but it'll look great with my L figurine together. Sadly it seems that it's not going to be many BJD stuff on sale... A girl of one of the BJD forums I'm in is going to sell some things, but I think that's all. Anyway I'm thinking about buying a suit for Yuki online.

Concerning art, it seems that inspiration is coming back slowly ^^ I haven't got many spare time for drawing though, I want to focus on my German and Japanese classes, especially on the latter, since I'll have an exam on December. I'm happy anyway, I'm doing little sketches and the like.

I'm also quite active on BJD stuff lately, I have many ideas for sewing, haha.

I've read on the net that Tim Burton is filming Alice in Wonderland, with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Alan Rickman as the Carterpillar. Is it great, or what? :D Hehe, I can't wait ^3^ I'm not sure, but I think Helena Bonham-Carter is part of the cast too. Will she play Alice?

So Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince wont' be released this autumn as expected, but in June 2009 D: Well, at least I can oogle these. Yep ♥ ^__^ By the way, I love how Helena Bonham-Carter looks on the second caption.

I've finished Death Note manga. I've started to read it last year, but volume 7 was such a turn-off, and volume 8 seemed to me such a bore that I've stopped ^^U, although I continued buying it. But some weeks ago decided to resume its reading. You can read some comments under the cut.

Beware of spoilers

Light is a brat, as usual, but I sort of pitied him at the end. Misa seemed to be not so silly as in the first part of the manga, but I was mistaken XD, she is sillier indeed ¬¬ Mikami looked at first like a bishie, but he's too nerd to be a hottie, really XD But I sort of like Takada, and I definitely like Light and Takada as a couple ^^
Near and Mello are sort of fun, but alas I miss L T__T Matt looks cool, but he appears very little. And am I the only one that has the feeling that there could be some romance betweeen Mello and Lidner? :D

Last night I dreamt about my dollie Yuki again XD. Like this time, I also dreamt that I was sleeping with him and, as I woke up on the dream, I found out that two Yuki's fingers were broken O_o. His wig was very untidy too, he was really miserable-looking XD Contrarily as it'd be expected, I wasn't angry or upset, I just though: "well, I'll glue his fingers, and order two new hands"
I suppose that I dreamt that silly thing 'cos, some time ago, I've read on the net some cases of BJD broken fingers, so... XD

DVD cinema

Recently I've watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and I feel like commenting it a bit under a cut, just to avoid spoiling it to anybody :D

About the film

I've heard a lot of critiques about Helena Bonham-Carter playing Bellatrix, and about her portrayal, but I don't think is that bad ^^U. In fact, I like it. It's not how I imagine Bellatrix, but I love how she plays the role anyway.

Dudley dressed like a spoiled hooligan is great, haha XD. But Harry doesn't look very Harry-like, his hair is too well groomed, LoL

Umbridge is so scary and nasty... O_o I love that short scene in which she's questioning Snape, haha.

The scene in which Harry looks into Snape's past sort of disappointed me ¬¬U. I think it's a rather important event on the books, but it seems to me that it hasn't got enough weight on the film... Harry isn't shocked by knowing that his father was a bully, which is like an important part on Harry's development. Well, in fact I don't know if James appears actually on the scene, so...

I was looking forward to the Occlumency lessons, to see Snape rant and yell :3. Nice, but too sort >__< XD

Sirius' death was like meh ·_· Not really touching. By the way, he looks way too much better in Goblet of fire, all shaggy-looking XD

And finally, a bit more of critique ^^U: hm, I don't understand the point of sticking too much characters who play a very short role, and who add almost nothing to the development of the film plot (mind that I'm speaking about the film, not about the books). It's like Tonks, she appears just a bit at the beginning, and another bit at the final battle. I mean, what's the point of it? She only says "Don't call me Nymphadora", which obviously isn't very relevant... Same with Bellatrix, although I supposse she will have more weight in following films...

Drinking and eating

Perhaps some of you know Fiji water already. It comes from the Fiji Islands and it's said to be one of the best bottled waters. Fiji isn't only known 'cos of its quality, but it's also trendy 'cos many celebrities drink it. "Hu", snorted I, when read about this, "drinking a water brand just 'cos famous people drink it too..." Considering my almost inexistant interest for the celebrity world, I couldn't hardly understand it...
But then I found this.
So yeah, now I do understand LoL
This is just one of my many fangirl stories, but we can draw some useful from it: sometimes we think that people act silly just 'cos their tastes or lifestyle don't meet us, but instead of judging that quickly, we should try not to be closed-minded. Variety is the spice of life ^__^
And yes, in case you're wondering: no, I haven't bought Fiji (yet) XD

I'm not really good at pastrymaking, but the other day I managed to bake shortbreads :D They tasted pretty good, although they were a bit overcooked too XD I think the oven was too hot. But I'm quite happy with the result. I'll try to make them again ^__^

It's awfully hot here. Meh.

I've watched recently Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, and Sweeney Todd again, this time the dubbed version in an open air cinema. I've bought the DVD too. And I also watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at home.
Now there aren't many interesting films on cinemas... ^^U I thought about watching Kung Fu Panda but, apart from Japanese ones, I'm not really fond of animation films so... And it seems that they'll never release Bottle Shock here >__< Well, anyway. I'll look at the cine club programm.

Perhaps you have noticed that I've deleted my artwork site. Updating it was becoming sort of a bore, and I was never fully satisfied with its design. I don't think I'll reopen it again but, since my pictures are uploaded at my DeviantART gallery anyway, that's not a big deal ^__^

Now it's the book fair at town, so some days ago I went there. I bought The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame, and the two first volumes of the DragonLance comic. It's a long time since I've read fantasy, but DragonLance was fun anyway, and I'll always be a Raistlin fan XD
I bought also El río de sombra, a compilation of poems by Antonio Colinas. Probably you won't know him but, if you can read Spanish, you should give his works a try. Seriously. He writes such beautiful poems. I first read some of them when I was at highschool, tried to find his books but they seemed to be out of print, and gave it up. And now, almost by chance, I find this book! ^__^

Today I've watched Caramel, it was better than I expected ^__^

I've tried to post the code for making LJ-style cuts, but I can't do it withouth Blogger reading it as actual code... ^^U

I've found on the net that J.K. Rowling is going to write a little prequel story for Harry Potter. Great, huh? ^^ Among other stories, it will be auctioned, and money donated to charity. It seems that the story will deal with my beloved (/sarcasm XD) James Potter, and Sirius.
By the way, I've also found this Daily Telegraph article about Harry Potter fanfiction. Very interesting, and informative, especially for non-readers of fanfiction. Go, and take a look ^^

Although I still maintain the same opinion about the "Geek Day" as before, yesterday I went to a sort of geek-meeting XD, and took a lot of fun photos. I'll upload them soon.

Changing topic, today I've watched Liberty Heights, a very good and interesting film. I've watched it at the film club, it was the first time I went there, and the place seemed to me very nice ^__^ I loved especially the screen, bigger than the cinemas where they broadcast original language films XD (yes, I rather prefer non-dubbed films ^^) Films at the film society are always broadcasted with subtitles and in their own language, so great ^__^
By the way, they've just shooted this film, Bottle Shock, with Alan Rickman on it ^^ No idea when it will be on cinemas, but it seems that it has been on the Sundance festival. Teaser below:

More manga con

Yesterday I went to the manga con again and that's what I bought:

Fruits Basket vol. 21
A black jacket for Yuki

As I told you on my last entry, I saw that jacket on Friday but I didn't bought them 'cos the girl at the stand wasn't sure if it'd fit Yuki, and she told me to bring him next time. So yesterday I grab teh Yuki, stuck him in a backpack XD, went to the con, and walked around with him in the geekest of fashions ^^U XD
I've read in dollie forums that some people reacts, let's say, oddly ^^U, to BJDs, and I had some fun experiences too XD:

I've just took Yuki out of the backpack, and he was standing on the ground, while I got ready for strolling around the venue. A girl and a boy stopped nearby, looking at my dollie:

Me (to the boy, who seemed to be thinking "what a nerdiness" XD): he rocks, doesn't he?
The boy: yes, but I don't understand
Me: me neither (haha)

I stopped on one of the stands to buy Fruits Basket. I left Yuki standing on the ground again, so I could pick my wallet:

The guy at the stand: those dolls come to life during night
Me: he rummages on the fridge

I didn't get angry at those, actually they seemed to me quite fun! XD There were some girls who looked at him saying "how handsome!", too ^__^. The girl at the clothes stand asked me to show Yuki to her, and even another guy of the stand took a photo of me and Yuki! XD I felt totally dollie-proud ^^
By the way, I met there also the girls from StKôsen , and a ferret! XD One of StKôsen friends has brought her lovely ferret ^__^, all cuteness.

The girl who sold it to me was very nice ^__^ There were also a jacket and a trenchcoat that could fit him, but the girl told me that it'd be better if I could bring my dollie so we can try the clothes on him. So I'm going to pick Yuki next day ^^ I didn't like the trenchcoat very much, but the jacket was really nice.

I don't like to workship artists or writers. They're human, like the rest of us, and they can have different points of view about things and life, and they make mistakes like the rest of us. So it's OK if we don't agree with them, and of course it's OK if we criticize (in a polite way, of course) them. Liking an author's works doesn't mean that you have to agree with his or her thoughts, and that you have to ignore his or her mistakes.
But I don't truly understand that anyone loves an artistic work, and at the same time hates the author so much... ·_·
Don't get offended by this, if this apply to you... they're just my thoughts.

There will be a manga con at town soon and, as you may already guessed, probably I'll go there ^^ But the truth is that I don't enjoy cons so much as before... ^^U One of the reasons is that most of my real life friends aren't into manga stuff, so I must go to cons alone and at first it doesn't matter, but then it becames a bit boring ^^U But the main reason is probably that I feel more and more detatched to it... every year people seems to be younger (well, they aren't becoming younger, it's me who is becoming older! XD) and, meaning no offense, I really don't like that sort of nerd atmosphere you can find sometimes at cons... I mean, it isn't necessary to yell and stuff to enjoy anything, in my opinion ^^U
These are my feelings as a visitor only... I was in a stand twice, and they were for sure the two cons I've had enjoyed most ^__^ and, trust me, I'd be very glad if I had the opportunity again ^^ *looks at her ugly pictures* Well, I think I have still to improve a bit, LoL XD
But I'm going to the con, anyway ^__^ I hope I can find a Ravenclaw badge for by bag there, hehe XD

Now I'm sewing a black T-shirt for my dollie Yuki ^__^ As I said in a previous post, I've retouched his jeans a bit, I've just changed the snap position; I though about getting rid of the pockets too, but I've discarded the idea 'cos it'll be too complicated (and pockets are cool, anyway XD) You can see some photos here, although I shot them before I've retouched the trousers.

Hi, guys! ^__^ Today I went to a subway-museum-thingie, built in an old metro station, and it was teh awesomeness XD. The station was fully reconstructed to its old self, with all its cute old signals, and advertisements. From its platforms you can see the trains passing by, which was pretty cool too, I had to restrain myself and not to wave hands and yelling "Hiya!" at them XD
Then I went to a English style coffee-shop, and had a bilberry juice, and a scone with marmalade and yummy clotted cream.

Last night I watched Die Hard, which was very entertaining. Then I went to bed and dreamt that I was doing Hans, haha ^^U XD

The instruments aren't the same: piano de cola, órgano de iglesia, bajo, cuerdas vocales, dos guitarras eléctricas ligeramente sampleadas, las campanas tubulares.
I rather prefer the first version... not only 'cos I'm partial to His Lordship, LoL, but 'cos the second one sounds a bit speed-up.

By the way, I finished a pair of jeans for teh Yuki (aka my BJD) I've taken some photos which I'll upload to my dollie site soon. The jeans have turned out quite well, although I wish to change some stuff: must modify the waist snap position, so they'll fit better, and probably I'll remove the front pockets too. The jeans have real pockets; this could sound cool XD, but in fact they do an odd bulge when Yuki is wearing them. So, if it isn't too complicated, I'm going to get rid of them and make a fake front pockets instead. I suppose that real pockets wouldn't have been a problem with thin fabric, but I've used real denim. It also seems that they're a bit loose on the hip area, but I won't be sure until I fix the snap and the pockets.

This post has turned out quite geek... XD

Now, onto happier news ^__^ I've won a contest at Snape Fanclub at DeviantART, guys! :D Hehe, it made me so happy ^^ The prize was a one-month subscription at DA (if you aren't familiar with DA, a subscription allows you to use CSS and images on journals, get rid of adds when browsing through the site, amongst other pretty features) The contest's theme was picturing Snape's potential new year's resolutions, so I've submitted this: Snape washing his hair XD
Also, the same day I knew I've won the contest, I received a belated birthday present from some friends ^^. Great! ^__^

By the way, the last book of Harry Potter series was released in my country last week. There were some events on bookstores, and fans were sort of hyper. No new stuff for me, 'cos I've read the book already XD, but I loved to read about it on the net.
